Your data stays on your device
Your tasks, your cat's name, her mood, your streak and your treats are saved only in your browser on this device. They are never uploaded to us. There is no account and no sign-in.
If you clear your browser data or switch devices, this information is removed. Adding Stinkylist to your home screen helps keep it safe.
Anonymous usage counts
To learn whether Stinkylist is helpful, the app sends a few anonymous counts to our own server (hosted by Cloudflare). No cookies and no third-party analytics are used.
- that the app was opened (once a day), so we can see whether people come back
- that a focus or breathing session was finished, the cat was fed, a cat was unlocked, or the app was installed
- how long the app was on screen during a visit
- the country you visit from, worked out by our host from the connection (we never store your IP address)
Each install has a random ID made on your device, so returns can be counted without knowing who you are. We never send your task text, your cat's name or anything that identifies you. Our host may briefly process your IP address to deliver the request, as with any website.
Fonts
Text is shown with a font loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font is downloaded.
